From that initial idea that started 19 years ago, with barely thirty artists, today we have more than 2000 participants from various regions of Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Austria and more. Having participated in the event several times, in some editions as a member of the jury, I have noticed that the quality of the works and the quantity of participants has made Ex Tempore of Grožnjan into one of the most important art festivals in the region. Together with Istria Nobilissima, it is the most important event of the Italian Union and the Università Popolare di Trieste.
