akordi srca, ki jih pozna vsakdo, \u010de jih \u0161e ni zamenjal za mimobe\u017enost pola\u0161\u010danja in oblasti. Prevajalci tu niso potrebni: kot pri glasbi gre za univerzalni in ve\u010dni kod, ki nam je lasten, toda pritajen pod vlogo, s katero se predstavljamo drugim in skrivamo pred sabo. Prenavljati in posodabljati, a biti obenem trdno ukoreninjen v tradiciji in imeti jasno videnje o prihodnjih korakih: to je rde\u010da nit, ki je navdihovala na\u0161e delovanje v teh dvajsetih letih. Stopati po starih poteh v novih \u010devljih in po novih poteh v starih \u010devljih. Tako se je leta 1994 rodil gro\u017enjanski Ex tempore: zaslugo za to imajo modri in daljnovidni Antonio Pellizzer (tedaj odbornik za kulturo v Izvr\u0161nem odboru Italijanske Unije, ki sem mu predsedoval), pa Sergio Molesi, Roberto Ambrosi, Erna Toncinich in Luciano Rossit. Prireditev, s katero smo hoteli proslaviti tridesetletnico sodelovanja med Italijansko Unijo in Ljudsko Univerzo iz Trsta, se je vrtoglavo razvijala in s\u010dasoma postala eden najpomembnej\u0161ih umetni\u0161kih dogodkov v na\u0161em prostoru. Na prvem Ex temporu je sodelovalo 33 umetnikov, na naslednjem ve\u010d kot \u0161e enkrat toliko, leta 2011 pa \u017ee kar 514. Na prvem Ex temporu so bili nagrajeni trije pripadniki italijanske skupnosti: Daria Vlahov (1. nagrada), Bruno Paladin (2. nagrada) in Claudio Ugussi (3. nagrada); kasnej\u0161i nagrajenci so prihajali iz razli\u010dnih dr\u017eav, kar je bil tudi namen prireditve. Ta je od samega nastanka predstavljala izrazito novost iz dveh glavnih razlogov: \u0161lo je za mednarodno pobudo, ki je bila namenjena vsem umetnikom, ne samo pripadnikom Italijanske Narodne Skupnosti na Hrva\u0161kem in v Sloveniji. Poleg tega je vzniknila v enem najtemnej\u0161ih obdobij na\u0161e nedavne zgodovine. Rodila se je torej kakor upanje, ki nas prevzame, ko drhte\u010d od vznemirjenja uzremo svit po dolgi mra\u010dni no\u010di! Odlo\u010ditev za Ex tempore je navdahnila kulturna strategija, katere razvojni potencial je predstavljala vklju\u010ditev lokalnega okolja: tako njegova aktivna participacija kakor tudi ustvarjalni dose\u017eki sodelujo\u010dih so prispevali k medkulturnemu dialogu, ki je dandanes skupno dobro (skoraj) vseh nas. Ex tempore je privzel mednarodno, evropsko razse\u017enost \u017ee takrat, ko se je iz na\u0161e perspektive Evropa zdela bolj preminula kot pa zbegana. Bil je kot slutnja, a je povsem uresni\u010dil cilje, ki smo si jih zadali: danes ni dvoma, da je gro\u017enjanski Ex tempore ena najpomembnej\u0161ih kulturnih prireditev na\u0161e regije v naj\u0161ir\u0161em pomenu te besede. Pomeni bistven prispevek Italijanske Narodne Skupnosti k dru\u017ebenemu in kulturnemu razvoju obmo\u010dij, na katerih smo zgodovinsko navzo\u010di, in dr\u017eav, ki jim danes pripadajo. Je plemenit sad italijanske navzo\u010dnosti v svetu. Je tesna vez med kulturami, jeziki, identitetami in ljudmi v tej pluralni resni\u010dnosti.
